About the Author
Dr. Binlei Gong is a tenured associate professor in School of Public Affairs, China Academy of Rural Development (CARD), and Academy of Social Governance at Zhejiang University. He is also served as the deputy director of Environmental and Energy Policy Center (EEPC) at Zhejiang University. His research interests include Productivity and Economic Growth, Development Economics, Energy Economics, Agricultural Economics, and Empirical IO. Dr. Gong's papers have been published in many academic journals, including Journal of Development Economics, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Energy Journal, Energy Economics, and Energy Policy. Before joining ZJU, Dr. Gong studied and worked in Michigan State University, Rice University, Brown University, Innovation for Poverty Action, Weatherford International, and the Energy Center of Baker Institute for Public Policy.
