Caroline Alexander is the New York Times bestselling author of THE ENDURANCE, THE BOUNTY, and other acclaimed works of narrative nonfiction. She studied philosophy and theology at Oxford as a Rhodes scholar and has a doctorate in classics from Columbia University. She has written for The New Yorker and National Geographic.
