Description

Rugby and Revival: A true story of hope in Wales. Rhys Stenner discovers in this true story that his grandfather has been a well known rugby player playing fly half for Wales. A new found faith leads to remarkable friendships within the valleys of Wales, with a sense of revival and plenty of rugby. This story journeys from 1905 to present day. It takes us from Wales, to England, to the USA and back to Wales bringing encouragement and hope.

About the Author

Rhys Stenner is the grandson of Ronnie Morris who played fly half the Wales in the 1930's. He became a Baptist minister in 1987 and has ministered in Teignmouth, Brighton, and since 2005 Atlanta, USA. Since 1994 he has lead large groups to Wales bringing hope and encouragement, especially in the Welsh valleys. This journey has let him back to his roots and the opportunity to encourage many in Welsh rugby. Rhys is married to Louise and has three girls: Megan, Eleanor and Sarah. Megan is married to Alex and they have a daughter called Brynlee. Rhys until recently was a scratch golfer, but spends most of his time pastoring his large flock, playing with his granddaughter, writing books and visiting Wales!
