There are many all night drives that have to be made, and trading shifts is a must in order to arrive at your destination in time and ready to compete.

I grew up in Northern Arizona, Winslow. Family had a farm and ranch operation and it kept my family busy year round. I'm the fourth born middle child of eight siblings. Started sports at eight years old and entered my first rodeo that same year. I was a State Champion Wrestlers my Junior and Senior years, and runner up my sophomore year. Lettered all four years. Started riding Bareback Horses my Senior year, and competed in Amateur Rodeos until i was 23 yrs. old. That's when I filled my permit from the PRCA and was eligible to enter any sanctioned rodeo. I competed for 10 yrs. Won the Turquoise Circuit six times, and qualified for the National Finals in 1979 finishing in 14th place in the World Standings. I then went to Hollywood to act and do stunt work. I became a member of the Screen Actors Guild and worked for some 30 years before taking my full retirement at age 55. I have authored a book about my time in the Movie Industry, Behind the Scenes". Stories from the people who experienced it first hand. It's based on the same premise as this book. A compilation of many authors telling their stories, in their own words.
