This is the original edition of The Phantom Of The Opera, the classic book that inspired the Lon Chaney film, and later the hit Broadway musical. It is rumored that a mysterious ghost lurks in the cellars and dark passages of the Paris Opera House. Although no one has actually seen this ghost, there is a lovely young singer named Christine Daae who's apparently heard his voice. The Phantom becomes her muse, her "Angel of Music," inspiring her to sing as she's never sang before.
