These Proceedings is a collection of manuscripts of the lectures given at the Fourth International Summer School on Nuclear Physics Methods and Accelerators in Biology and Medicine. They provide a broad up-to-date review of the current knowledge and methods of Nuclear Physics and Particle Accelerators and their applications in Medicine and Biology. These proceedings will be of interest to undergraduate and graduate University students of Engineering, Physics, Medicine, and Biology. The theme and content of the School are largely fruitful and perspective as an interdisciplinary field (science/engineering and biology/medicine). The principles and techniques of the science of the 20th Century (Physics) are exploited and applied into the science of the 21st Century (Biology). An event such as this Summer School is very rare which makes this Book of high value.
