There is fragility in perfection. Don't Bow Ballerina, a collection of poetry works, puts into words the processes of overcoming this fear of failure, this fear of not meeting expectations, this fear of imperfection. The poems of Don't Bow Ballerina are divided into five sections; Perfection, Exhaustion, Desperation, Acceptance, and Happiness. Though the poems of this collection are divided into five sections, they all fall under the same topic, depicting step by step a journey many can relate to. A journey of self-discovery, redefining perfection, and ultimately prioritizing happiness.
