Love is a Rebellious Bird by Elayne Klasson was released in November 2019.  This tale of a sixty-year love affair examines the age-old question of why we love the people we do.  A beautiful, charismatic and wildly successful man is adored by a woman.  Even as a child, he held the power.  Though bound by tragedy and friendship, he defines the terms of their relationship, until finally, in old age, the power shifts.  Sounds compelling!  Elayne Klasson has family ties and roots here in the North Shore, and she'll be returning home to have her event at the Book Bin on Saturday afternoon the 22nd of February, so please join us!

Elayne will be interviewed by Barbara Stark-Nemon, another author writing with She Writes Press.  Barbara's newest book, Hard Cider, is about a woman realizing her dream of producing hard apple cider along the northern shores of Lake Michigan but having to hold herself together in light of a shocking secret. These two authors have books that complement one another, and we should have an interesting conversation together.
