Book signing and author discusses her book

After becoming ill on vacation, Penny's life is turned upside-down!

A few words from the author:

I have always loved books; as far back as I could remember, they have pacified me, and it’s how I've learned about the world. As a young adult and beyond, bookstores were among my favorite places to spend quiet time. I’m so happy and warmed that independent book stores, like Book Bin in Northbrook, give us this comforting space in which to expand our horizons. Writing my book Aftershock was the magnum opus of my life, and I’m thrilled that people are reading it --sometimes in one sitting. So many people have reached out to tell me what reading my book has meant to them personally. I so appreciate this experience and hope you all enjoy the read!
