Muchas madres me preguntáis cómo me organizo con mis ocho hijos si a vosotras os cuesta teniendo menos. Durante mucho tiempo fui un desastre, una madre que se enfadaba, gritaba y no disfrutaba de sus hijos. Un día me pregunté a mí misma: ¿Cómo quieres que te recuerden tus hijos? Y todo cambió. Aprendí a organizarme y a disfrutar de mi familia y mi maternidad.

En este libro comparto con vosotros todas las herramientas que me ayudan a conseguirlo en el día a día: cómo mantener una buena relación de pareja que no se vea afectada por la llegada de los hijos, cómo educar a los niños con respecto a internet y la tecnología, mis trucos preparto y postparto, la importancia de la actitud, cómo mantengo el orden y la organización en casa, cómo organizo las comidas y cómo educo a mis hijos para que saquen lo mejor de sí mismos y sean felices.

Cuando te conviertes en madre, en el momento que nace tu hijo empiezas a vivir dos vidas: la tuya y la suya. Te vinculas de tal manera que vives por dos, o tres o cuatro, o los hijos que tengas. Es tan fuerte y tan real que es difícil describirlo con palabras.

Soy Paloma Blanc, o Palu para los amigos. Hija y hermana orgullosa. Presidenta del club de fans de mi marido. Aprendiz de madre de cuatro niñas y cuatro niños. Agradecida de tener a Dios en mi camino. De profesión, licenciada en Comunicación Audiovisual.

Trabajadora fuera y, sobre todo, dentro de casa. Amante del Cola Cao con magdalenas. Cantante en la ducha. Y también en la cocina, en el pasillo, en el coche, en la calle. Mi vida tiene banda sonora, en mi cabeza suena siempre música y eso me hace vivir intensamente todos los días. Bailarina en las escaleras mecánicas de los centros comerciales, ante la vergüenza de mis hijos. Superviviente, como todo el mundo en esta época de la Historia.

Visto un disfraz de señora organizada (chica, ¡¡por favor!!). Pero dentro de este cuerpo —serrano, dicho sea de paso—, se encierra una persona perezosa, caótica y desastrosa, que lucha por salir cada día. No se preocupen, la tengo encerrada.

Llevo 38 años pasándolo en grande y, sobre todo, soy feliz, MUY FELIZ.
